Mahashivratri Brahmotsavam will be held from March 1st to 11th at Srisaila Mahakshetra. On Thursday, EO D Peddiraj held a meeting with the managers of local inns in the wake of Brahmotsavam. Speaking on the occasion, Peddiraju said that the number of devotees visiting Srisailam is increasing day by day. Managers of all the inns should provide assistance in providing facilities to the devotees. All satras should provide services to the devotees with service attitude. He said that the devasthanam will provide full support to the satras. Local Tehsildar C Gurrappa, Deputy Tehsildar Kishore Kumar, Local CI Prasada Rao, SSI Lakshmana Rao and others participated in this meeting.

EO Peddiraju said that the devasthanam will arrange free bus facility to go to the respective intersections from where the devotees alighted during the Brahmotsavams. He said that during Brahmotsavam, the number of devotees is the highest and the traffic of vehicles is high. The managers of all the Satras should purchase and keep ready the goods, materials etc. required to serve the devotees before the start of Brahmotsavams. The managers of every inn also said that cleanliness should be given priority. He said that all measures should be taken to keep the inn premises clean.

EO Peddiraju said that during Mahashivratri Brahmotsavam, the number of devotees will be high and the organizers of all the satras should also arrange sufficient amount of dustbins. As part of the security measures, the management of all the inns should install adequate CCTV cameras. The managers of the inns have been advised to take care to ensure cleanliness while cooking the dishes for Annadanam and also during Annadanam.
