Jagan’s scheme after defeat… how to stay in news

After the dismal performance of the YSRCP in the recently-concluded Assembly elections, its leader Y.S Jaganmohan Reddy is playing all the tricks in the book to stay in the news albeit for flimsy reasons.

In spite of abject rejection by the people of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan is playing dirty by creating irrelevant news to stay in the public domain.

 Jagan, between 2014 and 2019, resorted to a series of lies against the then Telugu Desam Party (TDP) by unleashing a wave of Goebbels propaganda in his media – Sakshi –  due to which TDP lost power.

Now Jagan, since the day results were announced, has started crying foul in the name of law and order issues forgetting that he was the in-charge Chief Minister and he never addressed several ghastly incidents.

It appears that Jagan is suffering with short term memory loss.

Two weeks after the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led-Government was sworn in, Jagan and his cronies started claiming that there were 36 political murders which took place under the new regime and all the victims belonged to YSRCP. It was a lie.

He met the Governor and even held a one-day token protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, to which there were hardly any takers. People laughed at him for not attending the assembly session as a MLA and fighting for the cause of the people of AP.

After five years of in power, it seems Jagan has developed a new disease– where in a person suffering would want all the attention to on him, else they will go mad.

In order to ensure everybody’s attention on him Jagan appears to have designed a new strategy – ‘Vulturisation’.

What is Vulturisation? Vultures prey on dead corpses of human beings and animals. Vulture is a bird that scavenges on the dead and it would appear only when there is death.

Similar is the character of Jagan who did not come out during the past five years in spite of several brutal broad daylight murders and he is now raising hue and cry.

As a part of this, like a vulture Jagan Reddy is looking for a dead body on a daily basis. Once he identifies a dead body in the name of paying tributes and condolence  he visits the family of the victim, and undertake a rally with convoy of vehicles. Once he enters the town/village he will slowly proceed to the victim’s house taking as much as time so as to stay in the town/village for long time and to gather people around him on streets. This act is meant to catch the attention of the media also.

After spending two to three hours of time to travel one kilometre in the town/village he would visit the house. Instead of consoling the grieving family, he will start talking about various schemes doled out during his regime and how people are still talking about his regime as the ‘golden era’.

 After completing the visit, he will look for another dead corpse.

During Jagan’s term from 2019 to 2024, no opposition leader was allowed to step outside either for a democratic protest or for paying condolences to a victim.

For instance, when the then Leader of the Opposition, Nara Chandrababu Naidu gave a call – Chalo Atmakur – in September 2019 in order to expose the attacks on Dalit families for supporting TDP, he was not allowed to step outside his house.

Interestingly, the present Government has been allowing Jagan’s free movement.

Jagan is taking advantage of the large hearted NDA and gaining the public attention by spreading lies and false narration.

Now he resorted to misuse of Bala Saheb Dr. Ambedkar’s name.

YS Jaganmohan Reddy has inaugurated Dr. Ambedkar’s statue at Vijayawada in January 2023. Interestingly, Reddy has carved his name on par with Bala Saheb’s name. During the inauguration itself several organizations and individuals criticized Jaganmohan Reddy for putting his name on par with Bala Saheb.

In this backdrop, some miscreants demolished Jagan’s name from the statue.As expectedly, the ‘Vulture Jagan’ has made a huge hue and cry blaming TDP for the unfortunate incident.

People should know that it was YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s who removed the name of Bala Saheb Dr. Ambedkar from Dr. Ambedkar Videsi Vidya.

This sort of Goebbels’ propaganda is against the interests of the State of Andhra Pradesh and it is high time Reddy changed his conduct of politics.

If he continues Vulture’ tactics, coming generations would remember him as the Vulture that scavenged on corpses.
