The government faced a setback in the AP High Court when the court refused to hand over Sharath, the son of Prattipati Pullarao, to CID custody. The court upheld the order passed by the lower court, which had refused to hand over Sharath to custody. The ruling was made on a criminal revision petition filed by the police, who challenged the trial court’s order. An inquiry was conducted on Wednesday in this regard.
