The AP Chamber Business Expo was inaugurated with a focus on promoting industrial growth in Andhra Pradesh. The event showcased the State's incentives for setting up industries and provided a platform for entrepreneurs to explore new opportunities. Minister for Mines, Geology, and Excise Kollu Ravindra encouraged participants to make the most of the opportunities provided by the Andhra Pradesh government, which is offering incentives for setting up industries in the state.

He was speaking at the inauguration of the AP Chamber Business Expo in Vijayawada on Friday, alongside Minister Kondapalli Srinivas, where they emphasized the significance of the event in promoting industrial growth. Minister Ravindra highlighted that the expo provides an ideal platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to explore opportunities and learn about ways to establish industries. He noted that the coastal region of Andhra Pradesh is rich in resources, but past neglect had hindered its potential.

Reflecting on the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Ravindra pointed out that while Naidu's Vision 2020 was initially ridiculed, the development of Hyderabad proved the foresight behind it. He stressed that the current government is focused on building a prosperous future with Vision 2047, catering to future generations. Ravindra further criticized the previous government's mismanagement, which he believes led to setbacks in industrial growth. However, he assured that now, under the coalition government, industries are once again attracted to the state, with incentives in place for those looking to invest. He also encouraged attendees to actively explore opportunities for setting up industries, particularly highlighting the port construction in Machilipatnam as a promising site for new businesses.

Minister Srinivas echoed Ravindra’s sentiments, praising the expo as an invaluable resource for all participants. He underscored that 160 exhibitors were present, showcasing a wide range of industrial opportunities. Srinivas lamented the challenges faced by industries in the past five years and the resulting loss of job opportunities, particularly for youth. However, he assured that under the coalition government, special attention is being given to industrial establishment, with support for small-scale industries. Srinivas also mentioned that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu personally engaged with industrialists to encourage investment in the state. He expressed the government’s commitment to supporting small industries, especially in sectors like food processing, and promised assistance through initiatives such as the MSME scheme.

He urged the youth to take inspiration from successful entrepreneurs like Ratan Tata and emphasized that technological advancements could open new avenues for growth. The expo, which will run for three days, will feature seminars on 150 topics, including industry setup, government support, and available opportunities. The ministers called on everyone to seize the chance to become entrepreneurs and contribute to the state's industrial growth.
