Lavu Srikrishna Devarayulu who won as MP from Narasaraopet constituency in 2019, recently resigned from the YCP and his post as MP, causing a commotion. Devarayulu said that he left the party because the YCP leadership wanted to field a new candidate in Narasaraopet seat. Meanwhile, he claimed that political uncertainty had arisen in the Narasaraopet parliamentary area and for that he was not responsible for the local uncertainty. MP Lavu Srikrishna Devarayulu expressed that the cadre was getting confused with the leadership’s attitude. Devarayulu clarified that his decision to leave the party was not voluntary, but he resigned with the intention of ending this kind of confusion. He mentioned that he had done all the development work he could in five years and that the Chief Minister had also helped him. He added that the MLAs had tried hard for him in the past fortnight. He made it clear that if he decides to contest again, he will do so from Narasaraopet. Devarayulu has been struggling locally for the past few years, and he has serious differences with Minister Vididala Rajini.
